Grain

"I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you," John 13:15.

If I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. Father, I ask also for those who will believe that they may all be one, just as you are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. Perfectly one, so that the world may know that you loved them just like you loved me. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies it bears much fruit. Anyone who serves me must follow me. The Father will honor anyone who serves me.

We serve a brother or sister today and so meet in Jesus' love. And, together, we give faithful thanks to God for raising us up into the sky kingdom.
