"He has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed," Acts 17:31.
Who did? God did. What did he? Fixed a day. For what? For to judge the world. Yeah. That day separates this present temporary nature and the coming immortal and imperishable life. The day of reckoning. Doomsday. Will God do this justly? (Ya gotta be kidding! When kids rebuild their plastic bricks into new structures, who asks if they were fair to the bricks?) But, Yes. God will be just. And more than fair. He will judge the world by the Risen Christ, that most excellent human being. Whoever followed that appointed man as master in this temporary world, receives grace into the eternal one.
We seek a brother or sister today to remind each other of the most excellent master, Jesus. And, together, we give grateful thanks for God's righteous and gracious reckoning day. Sky kingdom.
