"My brothers, in favoritism you do not have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory," James 2:1.
When people give themselves first to Jesus, they recognize the Lord sustains each believer in the presence of the Father. So, if a person with low social standing comes into the assembly, they treat him with deep respect just as they might welcome somebody with high standing. Jesus' people would not make distinctions between persons based on humanistic societal standards. No. Never! They would not engage in such sin. Rather, they uphold the glorious faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. They show what this means: Love your neighbor as yourself. They know God gives rich faith and kingdom inheritance to anyone.
Meeting with any of our Father's children today, we recognize brothers and sisters. And, together, we give thanks glorifying our fairest God who loves us all.
