"If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed," 1 Peter 4:14.
Hmm. But it seems, instead, that we should smite them in the Lord's name! But it says, instead, let none of you suffer as a murderer or thief or evildoer or meddler. But it seems, instead, that we could at least meddle in their affairs. But it says, instead, be happy that you share in Christ's sufferings. But it seems, instead, that we should get even. But it says, instead, be happy so that you can be happy when Christ's glory overwhelms. But it seems, instead, that life should be easy for Christians. But it says, instead, don't be surprised at the fiery ordeal ahead. But it seems, instead, ordeals should be passed. But it says, instead, the ordeal's all part of God's judgment. And it says: the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you suffering as a Christian. So. We shall entrust our souls to the faithful Creator, all the while doing good. Sky kingdom.
When we meet with a brother or sister today, we encourage each other to do good. And, together, we gratefully entrust our lives to God, the faithful one.
