Vindicate

"God, you are my strength," Psalm 43:2.

You, O God, vindicate us. You defend our cause against evil. Yes! You deliver us from deceit and injustice. Even when it seems you have rejected us, we yet take refuge in you! Oppression has no power to sweep us away in mourning. No! Your glory and your truth shine out to lead us. They light the way home. To you. We follow them to your mercy, to unmeasurable joy! And our heartstrings resonate by your presence. We do not succumb to despair - No! We hope in you, O God, and we keep praising you, our Savior. Our. God. Yes!

As we call on a brother or sister today, we encourage hope in God. And, together, we give grateful praises for God's mighty salvation power.
