"Love each other as precious brothers and sisters," Romans 12:10.
Love's got to be for real. It must be authentic (that's the word we like to use nowadays because there's just so much plastic ephemeral movie stuff and it's hard to find the real deal - I mean, how often do we have to hear: well, it's fiction but it's true. ? Sure, we get metaphors, but really? Real-ly?). Love lives in harmony. Love shares. Love shows hospitality. Love blesses (and does not curse). Love hangs on to good stuff (and abhors evil). Love hangs out with the lowly (and is not arrogant). And like that. Gotta be. Genuine. Sky kingdom.
We hang out with a brother or sister today because Jesus hung out with us. And, together, in deep thanksgiving, we present to God as a living sacrifice.
