"Have this mind among yourselves, the one Christ Jesus had," Philippians 2:5.
The mind of Christ. Wow! How great a mind was that? The mind of Christ was obedience. Minding God. Obedience to God even when it meant discomfort. If it meant losing the divine form. Taking on the form of a slave. Becoming nothing. Being born like creatures. Humbling himself to death. Death on a cross. That's the mind of Christ. Obedience. That's the mind to which we aspire among ourselves. wow
When we visit with a brother or sister today, we give them more honor than to ourselves. And, together, humbly, we mind each others' interests (not business!) like Jesus minded ours.
