Exchanged

"When I kept things to myself I felt weak deep inside," Psalm 32:3.

Dear Jehovah God: When your hand pressed down on us, we suffered like in summer's oppressive heat. But then we confessed our sins to you, and you forgave us! You blessed us with the forgiveness of our transgressions. You bless us! You cover our sins! You don't count our sins any longer - you've taken away our deceits. Thank you! We pray to you, and you, our hiding place, you lift us from the rising flood of sin-drenched guilt. Your protective wall fills us roundabout with deliverance songs. Thank you! Bless you!

As we speak with a brother or sister today, we acknowledge our need for God's forgiveness. And, together, we give praises for his son, Jesus, who exchanged our sin for his righteousness.
