Outfit

"Those servants will be blessed when their master comes home," Luke 12:37.

So, where's their master been? Celebrating big wedding festivities, and the party's gone on late into the wee hours. And what of his servants? Watching for him to get home. Everything at the ready - shining lamps. Alert. Anticipating. Readied for any moment he and his entourage might show up. And how will these poised servants find blessing? This is where a familiar story leaves the track: The master will change out of his wedding clothes, put on his waiter outfit, will have his servants sit at the table they had prepped, and he will serve them the banquet! Sky kingdom.

We speak courage with a brother or sister today to keep serving in hope of Christ's blessing. And, together, we give thanks to God for making such faith good enough.
