Mercified

"You are a chosen race," 1 Peter 2:9.

You, who? You, a royal priesthood. Who? You, a holy nation. Who? You, a people special to God. Who? You, who talk about God's greatness. Who? You, whom God called out of darkness into light. Who? You, who were nobodies. Who? You, God's very own people. Who? You, once without mercy. Who? You, now mercified. You, Chosen. You, Elected. So, when did you get chosen? When you came to the One men rejected, but Whom God chose. To Jesus. God elected Him as the living cornerstone of His spiritual house. And you, coming to Jesus, God chose you, too, as living stones for building His house. Sky kingdom.

We meet today with a brother or sister, chosen by God to comprise his home. And, together, we offer spiritual sacrifices of praise for God's secure election in Christ.
