Them

"And in keeping them there is great reward," Psalm 19:11.

Them? Them what? The judgments. What judgments? The judgements of Jehovah God. But aren't they so oppressive? Hardly. They're sweeter than candy. They're better than exquisitely worked gold. They're true! They're good! Yep. Respect for the Lord, honoring his Word: it's clean. It lasts. God's command's pure. It opens eyes to reality. God's orders are right. Their observance creates heartfelt happiness. God's rules create wisdom in plain people. God's teaching's perfect for making dead souls live. Word of God: warns people away from death. Word of God: keep it and find great reward.

Dear God: we, brothers and sisters, need you to keep our words and our thoughts acceptable to you. We want to keep your Word. And, together, we give thanks for the great reward your Word promises. Praise you, Lord!
