Hooray

"Guilt overwhelms me, but you forgive our sins," Psalm 65:4.

Dear God, we praise you! We'll keep our promises to you! You hear our prayers. Everyone on earth will come to you. You forgive us. The people you choose to live inside your courtyards find happiness. Good things from your house, from the very holiness of your temple, fill us up. Oh, you answer us in amazing ways. You! The God of our salvation! The hope of all peoples to land's end! Yes, of people over the farthest seas! We trust in you. Your strength built the mountains. Your peace calmed raging seas. Your serenity quieted disturbed crowds. You awaken dawn to unfold in song. You lull evening into tranquil bliss. Your wonders awe us.

We visit a brother or sister today, atoned for by God's own desire. And, forgiven together, we shout Hooray! to our God and his Christ: Hallelujah!
