"We who teach will be judged with greater strictness," James 3:1.
Judged by whom? Well, partly by those being taught. But, here, mainly, by God. God's paying attention to what teachers teach. No stumbling around in what's said. Bridling the mouth. The mind must guide it rather than let it loose. The tongue, after all, is a little thing, but it sure can swagger big. Its obscenities pollute the rest of the body. It blazes hell fire. Uncontrolled burns destroy whole life cycles up in flames. It thinks to bless God all the while cursing humans, God's likeness. What?! God's listening. His judgment severe against earthly, soulish, demonic teaching.
We speak God's blessings carefully with a brother or sister today. And, thankful together, we praise Christ who teaches us God's eternal wisdom.
