Muck

"When different troubles happen be very happy," James 1:2.

Well. This James fellow is already starting off troublesome. Joy about trials? Hmph! Don't think so. But wait! Here's one of those chains that link unhappy events to something excellent. Trials to. Faith testing to. Hanging in there to. Growing up to. Wholeness to. Sufficiency. Ah! We see God's work right now in the muck of the tough stuff. So, we be happy: God's working in it.

We visit with a brother or sister today in life's troubles and hope together in God's work. And, together, we give thanks to God for his faithfulness.
