Happy

"I was happy when they said to me, Let's go to the Lord's house," Psalm 122:1.

We're standing within your congregation, Lord, in your house. Your built your temple, your assembly, as a place where friends gather. All the tribes belong to you, O Lord! Your rule elicits our praises, our thanksgivings! Jesus, your Christ, rules from the thrones you established. We pray for your peace among the assembly. Your bulwarks support the congregation and those who love her remain firmly secure in her. To help brothers and sisters, friends all, may the church have peace. For the sake of your house, O Jehovah God, we seek her good!

When we see a brother or sister today we celebrate our standing within the walls of the new Jerusalem. And, together, we praise you, God, for Jesus whose peace rules our hearts.
