Nulled

"He gave up his place with God and nulled himself," Philippians 2:7.

Who did that? Jesus did. What did he do? He released his hold on being like God. Not at all like his predecessor who chose self-rule thinking to become like God. What did Jesus do instead? He emptied himself. He took hold of slave-likeness, became man. He humbled himself. He became obedient. To God. Yes. He was born like humans are. He obeyed God to death. Jesus obeyed God to the cross. And God filled him up with life and made him King, Lord. Different rules. Different rule. Sky kingdom.

When we look at a brother or sister today, we see another ruler filling up each other's lives: the Lord, Jesus. And, together, we give glory to God who teaches us his love and others' welfare.
