Face

"Your face, Jehovah God, do I seek," Psalm 27:8.

Though we might die doing so, that's what our hearts say to you, O God. Please hear our voices when we scream, Lord. Don't hide your face from us or turn us away in distaste. You alone have been our help! Don't throw us away! Don't forsake us! You're our only salvation! Ah, Lord God. Yes. Thank you! We believe you'll take us in. You won't abandon us to the evil, violent ones. We'll live to see your goodness. So we get strong awaiting your grace as our hearts get brave. We do wait for you. Yes, Lord, we trust you.

As we join prayers with hurting brothers or sisters around the world we worship God, our savior. So, together, we give thanks in hope of the faithfulness of God's face.
