Soar

"My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me," Psalm 63:8.

Our souls thirst for you, O God, our God! Our whole being thirsts for you like a man in a desert. We want to follow you because your love is better than life. So we will praise you. We have seen your power, your glory! We saw it in your dwelling place - among your people! We saw it at the empty tomb! You satisfy better than choicest foods. Our lips sing your praises as we think about you through the night hours. Yes, because you have been our salvation. Your wings lift us as we soar in your joy. And their every stroke drives evil powers to the bottom. We joy in you, O God! You ever have been our help.

Visiting with a brother or sister today reminds of our God's satisfaction in Christ. And, in this place of prayer together, we offer him thanks and praise.
