"I truly believe I will live to see the Lord's goodness," Psalm 27:13.
Why may we believe this, truly? Because the Lord, who saves us, is our light. Because the Lord protects us, that's why. And we therefore fear no one. So if enemies attack us, if an army surrounds us, yes, even if war breaks out, we will not be afraid. Why not? Because we will keep on trusting the Lord anyway. Trusting. In him! Lord, thank you for hearing us when we call. Thank you for not turning away when we come to you. You have helped us. You help us. You will help us. You're our Savior! Even if our families leave us, you receive us. So we wait for you. We wait for your deliverance. We wait for your goodness. We believe you!
As we see a brother or sister today, we meet faithfully anticipating God's goodness. And, together, giving thanks for past deliverance and for future salvation, we praise the God of all grace!
