"Those who insult your good way of life in Christ may be humiliated," 1 Peter 3:16.
Yes. And when do these disparagers get shamed? when we explain our hope to them. when in giving its reason, we live out the way we learned in Christ, namely, doing kindness and respect, in all good conscience. And when they see hope expressed in us as this good way of life in Christ, their slander turns to their shame. And even in such hard times, we prep for Christ's appearing. Getting ready.
We visit a brother or sister today in the good way of life we learn in Christ. And together we give thanks to God that honoring his way shames all other ways.
