Total

"Return to me with all your heart," Joel 2:12.

To whom? To God. Says who? God. And why return? Because God is gracious. Merciful. Slow to anger. Because he abounds in steadfast love. He relents over disaster. How to return to God? With fasting. Weeping. Mourning. Breaking hearts. Yes. And. Telling God that pagans wonder if his people's God is careless. Why? Because God is jealous. (Jealous?! Yes. For you. For us.) Because God's jealousy leads his compassion. And God will send plenty blessings. To his people who return to him humbly.
