Voice

"Long ago, at many times, and in many ways," Hebrews 1:1.

Parts of life on this planet are really good. But, good grief!, so much of this world's a total mess. You'd think that God would do something about it, if he could. This earth ... such a small speck in the vast expanse of the universe. Yeah, and what could God possibly find to care about, if he did care? Well. Scripture staunchly attests God's sorting the mess for a long, long time, and in lots and lots of ways. Because he saw us, tiny humans, blind, lost in space. And, now, in these last days, God finds his voice in Jesus. That is, we hear God, loud and clear, in his son.

Today, with a brother or sister, in these waning days of the world, we read God's text: Jesus, only hope for the world. And, together, we give thanks to see God at work all along, despite our blindness.
